Sitting here wondering if I'm Pollyanna or Eeyore - Day 195: Happy Bastille Day all!

Bastille Day at work with Jane so we nicked around to a patisserie to get yummy French baked goods.

Then off to meet Fahmi at Wynyard station to take bus up to Palace Cinemas Chauvel for a preview screening I'd won tickets to via bookshop Better Read Than Dead. Reaching For the Moon was fabulous and we even got a goodies bag of skincare products that put us in the running for a premium pack of products from Appelles if we Instagramed out the pic. So we did.

Screening was delayed by an hour when they couldn't find the password for the film, which put the Q& A between Miranda Otto and Giles Hardy back an hour so we ended up trying to find something to eat at 10pm on Oxford Street in Paddington. Settled on Indian kebabs which are naan breads, chicken tikka, butter chicken sauce and an aloo chops (potato balls). Yummy and we ate them on walk back to Museum Station (I had to wait till I'd talked to my gorgeous guy who was tired from the drive to Bathurst - he comes before anything!)

We saw Magda Szubanski wo ended up sitting just 2 rows in front
