Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 348 - Pretty lights! Pretty Christmas lights!!!

Day started off well with lunch at Brighton le Sands with Susie and John, Ellen, and Tracy.

Lots of birthday cards exchanged, Christmas cards given and we got to see 140 of Ellen's best shots of her recent trip to Portugal, UK and Morocco.

Had a great time.

Ellen gave me a $50 gift voucher from Jb HiFi and this is what I bought the next day with them

Birthday present from Susie

Then Steve and I headed off to Rozelle to see if we could get the meat grinder for Rick for Christmas but they were packing up so we headed home and crashed for a while ... so tired ... before awaking and heading off for a ...

YUMMY dinner at Moon Sushi which we had been meaning to try for ages up in Dulwich Hill.

The staff were super friendly and the food was SO fresh ...

Then off to see the Christmas lights first at the Salvation Army retirement village nearby then the place I love more than anywhere each Christmas - the house on Frazer Street just near Steve's ...

Retirement home

Next door neighbour's place (left as you're facing the houses)

And THE house ...

Next door neighbour's place on the right - The Pink House ...

Back to THE house ...

Then off to the house around the corner in Livingstone Road ...

And finally to a WHOLE street of Christmas - Second Street in Ashbury to be exact - which even with some houses' lights switched off (it was after 10pm), still looked mighty impressive.

And finally a gorgeous shot of Michael and Jordan in her new Christmas hat ...
