Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day 313 - Guess who came to dinner?

A quite night in with one of Steve's delicious home cooked meals, in this case lamb shanks with vegetables and couscous became, quite delightfully, an impromptu a dinner party with Waz (wines), Fahmi (who brought dips and cheese) and Peter (who made and brought a delicious pear and almond flan with ice cream) at Steve's place in Dulwich Hill.

Everyone arrived about 7pm, we caught up over nibblies and wine before sitting down at the table, with all Steve's loveliest plates and cutlery set out beautifully and we had the loveliest night talking, laughing and kicking back.

Steve's sister Carolyn gave his pot lid holder-upper thingy which is so fun and quirky and so we texted a photo to Carolyn.
