Holding the Reins of the Runaway Extrovert 2013: Day

My lovely friend SJ from my Spiders writing group tweeted yesterday that she had been received into t a session at the Writers Studio with Glen Mazzara who was, up until recently, the showrunner for The Walking Dead.

That's huge and very exciting and led to this lovely exchange with one of my very favourite creative people and a big Battlestar Galactica fan to boot!

I also had a fabulous, wonderful amazing sushi dinner with my thoughtful sweet friend Justin at Makanai in the City.

I hadn't seen him in ages and we talked and talked and laughed for ages and tried all manner of fun sushi before walking up to the bus stops on Elizabeth Street where I waited with him till I had to leave for my train.

It's friends like him that make my world such an awesome place.
